Carbonatik a Leading mining company in USA visit Sri Lanka seeking investment opportunities

Carbonatik, USA visited Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Urban Development, Construction, and Housing to discuss investing in condominium property development in Colombo. They are very keen about the charmos area in Colombo city central.The Chief Operating Officer of the organization, Anand Malaimegam, and the Chief Product Officer for Southeast Asia, Mr. Segar Muthu Murugesu, attended the meeting with the Hon. Dr. Karunathilake, Minister of Urban Development, Construction, and Housing, the Director General of the Urban Development Authority, and the Director General of the National Physical Planning Department (NPPD) regarding the above matter.

During the discussion with NPPD as a leading government planning organization in Sri Lanka, we explained the National Physical Plan (Spatial Plan) for Sri Lanka and the Oceanic Resources Exploration and Development Strategy for the marine area.

During this discussion with the NPPD, Carbonatik, USA expressed great interest in oil exploration in the Mannar basin. The NPPD would like to facilitate them by coordinating with the relevant authorities in the Power and Energy Sector of Sri Lanka with a comprehensive project proposal from the USA end.
